I stayed for two nights in a Budget Double Room primarily to explore the amazing attractions near the old city. The beautiful view of the park from my room was a highlight, and I appreciated the high-quality personal hygiene products provided. While the mattress was a bit firmer than I prefer, the location's tranquility was great for resting after long walks to places like the National History Museum and the Latvian Museum of Foreign Art, all within easy reach.

Excellent buffet breakfast. Superb sauna and spa facilities. Polite staff who fully understood English. Great value for money
Bar facilities closed at 11 pm about the time I returned from dinner so unable to enjoy a nightcap

I really liked interior in public space. It was like palace. Breakfast was also good. Hotel is located in new town side, but only few minutes walk to the old town ,so no problem at all.

The building is gorgeous and quiet. I loved the spacious Superior Double Room with its fine high ceilings and the beautiful garden views. Enjoying a cup of tea from the complimentary kettle in my room was the perfect way to relax after a day of exploring!

We stayed in April, on a weekend when prices were very high in Riga... I don't know why. hotel, looks like an old noble family house converted into a hotel. access to the rooms was through a lounge, reinforced that idea. hotel is located in the centre of Riga, 5 minutes walk from the station and in 5 minutes you reach the historical centre. rooms are designed in a rather classical style, is in line with the rest of the accommodation. They are of a good size, with a slightly smaller bathroom in relation to what the room is, in general of a good size as well. cleaning is correct and free wifi depends on where the room is, it's correct or a little slow. Me in 316, is located in what looks like an annex/extension of the building. sometimes I was a bit slow. breakfast is varied and abundant, although with little choice of sweet. the best part of the breakfast is the room where it is served, room that all the guests take pictures of because of its decoration.
Small details that need to be repaired, such as some areas of a room had the paper raised. Nothing that would make the room especially uncomfortable. In the bathroom they have a bathtub, a plastic bathtub that seems not very strong, and although it is a personal preference, the shower tray better.

Staying at the benjamin house, self check-in exceeded my expectations. The retro style of the room and its lovely decor. The location was perfect for exploring old town.

My breakfast was very tasty with pancakes. The room was reasonably spacious and bright, the beds were exceptionally comfortable, I greatly enjoyed it. I spent here 7 great days and will be back.

Well situated and fashionable hotel, just 3 minutes far from the railway station and 5 from the old town.
During the breakfast a young waitress was not able to answer our question neither in Russian nor in English and we were not good in Latvian... Fortunately, she was the only one! Her colleagues were all well trained.

Staying in this historic palace was an absolute dream! The ambiance was captivating, and my room faced a lovely park, offering fresh air through those big windows. Plus, after check-out, I was treated to a tour of the private quarters of the Benjamin family-talk about a hidden gem!
While I recommend this cozy place, I didn't feel 100% safe as a solo traveler. The absence of staff meant it felt a bit open to outsiders. Dawn light made photos of the fine rooms a challenge, a bit frustrating.

The unique garden courtyard is a nice touch.
Unfortunately, I found the noise from neighboring rooms quite distracting . The lack of shower gel in the bathroom was puzzling, especially given the otherwise nice toiletries provided. The self check-in process felt impersonal, leaving me without assistance when I needed help with room particulars.

I was really looking forward to my stay, but honestly the lukewarm shower was just tragic. I also found tape stuck on the carpet, so charming, not. Woudl ve been nice to have someone cater to me, given the lack of basic amenities like breakfast, disappointing.

Nice hotel, comfortable room with airco (and yes, it can be hot in Riga), good breakfast, close to Old Town en Art Nouveau streets, very good price/quality ratio

The hotel and the room were peaceful and quiet despite being quite full and located in the city centre. There was a wide choice of good quality hot and cold food at breakfast. Dinner was also good quality.
Wardrobe and drawer space was too limited. We would prefer a shower cubicle to a bath with a shower over that we had. Mini Bar prices too high.
